Description

Two buckles instead of laces, a sole you never notice: the structure of a dress shoe, the ease of a loafer.

ODILON NAPPA is a double-buckle loafer in black calfskin, finished with silver-tone buckles and a full leather lining.

The leather sole is finished with a rubber insert at the toe and heel, built for real grip on pavement without adding bulk to the shoe's line. The construction follows the traditional cemented technique from the Vigevano footwear district, which keeps the shoe light and extends its life. Inside, the full leather lining makes it comfortable to wear without socks, with a soft feel from the first wear.

The buckles do the job a tassel would do on a classic loafer: they add structure without adding weight, carrying the shoe from a relaxed suit to dark denim without ever looking out of place. Good in a meeting, good at dinner, good without socks when the weather allows.

The buckles get noticed, the sole doesn't: the kind of elegance that doesn't need to prove anything.

ODILON NAPPA also comes in Cocoa, with gold-tone buckles instead of silver: same silhouette, for anyone who prefers the warmth of dark brown to black.

Care

Smooth leather shoes require regular and targeted care to preserve their elegance and durability. For daily cleaning, a soft, dry cloth should be used to remove dust and dirt. In case of stains or halos, you can take action with a slightly dampened cloth and mild soap, then dry carefully. To keep the leather soft and shiny, it is useful to periodically apply a nourishing cream specifically for smooth leather, distributing it with gentle, even strokes.

If the shoes have leather tassels or bangs, it is important to treat them very gently. Tassels can be wiped with a dry cloth or soft brush to remove dust while avoiding deforming or pulling them. For leather bangs, a soft cloth or fine-bristled brush should be used to remove dirt and debris, taking care not to bend them or ruin the edge. In case of stubborn dirt, you can blot both tassels and bangs with a slightly damp cloth, then dry them carefully to maintain their shape.

Any metal accessories, such as buckles, should be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust and fingerprints, avoiding abrasive products that could scratch or dull them.

Any TR (thermoplastic) or rubber soles need regular cleaning to maintain a tidy appearance and ensure their functionality. To remove dirt and debris, simply use a soft sponge or damp brush, avoiding direct water contact with the smooth leather of the upper. For rubber soles, a mild detergent is recommended to remove any stains without damaging the surface.

When cotton canvas inserts or metal clamps are present, it is important to treat each item with due care. Cotton canvas can be cleaned with a dry cloth or slightly dampened with lukewarm water and mild soap, avoiding excessive moisture that could compromise the fabric structure. Metal clamps, on the other hand, should be polished with a dry or slightly damp cloth to maintain their shine, taking special care not to allow detergents or water to come in contact with the surrounding leather parts.

For optimal storage, it is best to store shoes in a cool, dry place, away from sources of heat or moisture. Breathable protective bags will help protect them from dust, while using shoe lasts will help preserve their original structure.

The shipping fee is calculated at checkout and two shipping options are available:

Domestic and Worldwide Standard Shipping takes 5-7 business days.
Domestic and Worldwide Express Shipping takes 2-3 business days.

Shipments outside Europe always have customs duties and taxes included.

Returns

If you change your mind about your purchase, you have the right to safely return your order within 14 days of receipt.
The return process is straightforward: just contact our Customer Care Service at info@superglamourous.it to receive step-by-step returning guidelines.
Once the return process has been explained, you shall send back the goods by contacting your courier to schedule the pickup of the merchandise you are returning. You can ship the products back to us in its original packaging, with a traceable courier such as DHL, UPS or Fedex.
The return shipping fee and all import duties and taxes back to Italy (if any) will be sustained by the customer.

Once the products reach our Boutiques and after the proper checks, we will proceed with the style/size change or refund to your original payment method within 14 business days, accordingly.

Please remember that we can not accept returns on products that have been customized especially for you (Article 59 of Legislative Decree 206/2005) or that are final sale products included in the Private Sale collection online.
